DONATE YOUR PONYTAIL
Share your hair and share the love.
From this day on the Ponytail Kids Club is dedicated to Tanae Ladner. Tanae was the first Ponytail Kids’ recipient of the first human hair wig. Amber Jacobson and Courtney Clark shared their hair and their heart for Tanae’s special wig and made Tanae’s dream come true. Tanae was so happy to receive that wig. The above slideshow is a dedication to Tanae and her love of butterflies. She will forever remain in our hearts and will be missed everyday.

We now have ponytails coming in from around the United States. Mothers, daughters, sons and fathers are cutting their ponytails to help put a human hair wig on a child with cancer. Each ponytail makes a difference. It usually takes about six ponytails to make a wig. I take the measurements of the child’s head and match a hair color with his or hers but sometimes they want a new color. I then go to my "Ponytail Stable" and select the needed ponytails. I send the ponytails off to a wig maker in Brooklyn, New York. At that time, the wig specialist makes the wig for our child in need. When I receive the wig, I call that child and make an appointment for the fitting and styling. A very HAPPY child enters Pink Heart Funds and gets to put his or her new hair on for the very first time. WOW is usually the first word I hear from them and a smile so big from ear to ear. That my dear is what the Ponytail Kids Club is all about.
