I am not a doctor or a medical researcher. I am simply a cancer survivor dedicating my life to help those going through a hair loss illness feel beautiful again. It is so very important. Losing a breast is very difficult, I know, but losing your hair is more traumatic than people might think. Until it happens to you, you have no idea how ones self image changes. Self image, and feeling beautiful about your self is key to getting through the toughest of times. I have dedicated my life to helping uninsured women and children with cancer get free wigs and breast prosthesis and have guided them in a direction of beauty and self awareness, I have shown them I cared and given them the love and understanding they so desperately needed during a tough battle with cancer and hair loss.
