Yes you can now donate your beautiful ponytail so Pink Heart Funds can have a custom made wig make for a child with cancer. It is 100% free to the family. All we need is proof the child has cancer, alopecia or burned scalp and we will donate a  free wig to them.

 

 

 

All I need from you is 8 inches or more of hair all one length or as close to it as possible. Cut the hair off in the clean ponytail dry if possible. Do not mail a wet ponytail please. Secure the ponytail with rubber bands or ponytail holders in a couple of areas so it does not come apart in the shipping.

 

 

 

Include your name and address so we can acknowledge that we received your ponytail. It may take a few weeks to hear back from a volunteer at Pink Heart Funds.  We are all volonteers at the Pink heart Funds.

 

 

 

Your ponytail goes through a process. We receive the ponytail and then it is sorted by length and color. It is them placed in the Ponytail Stable. When we have the child that needs your ponytail then it is shipped off to our wig maker in New York City. It is then custom designed for the child ans shipped back to us. At that point we have the child come back in to Pink Heart Funds office for the wig to be styled to his or her desired style.

 

 

You and the child are now a member of the Ponytail Kids Club.
